      Of Walter Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 79th year. Dear father of Larry (Carol) of Waterloo, Barbara Brueckner (Dan) and Linda Pautler (Hugo Groff), all of Cambridge; lovingly remembered by five grandchildren, Corey and Michael Melanson, David (Corinne) and Adam Brueckner and Jason Pautler; survived by two brothers, Jerry Mason of Vancouver and Eric Gould of Shediac, N.B. and two sisters, Doris Doucet of Kentville, N.S. and Margaret Langis of Shediac, N.B. Predeceased by his parents, one granddaughter, Melissa Lyn Pautler and one brother, Azore Melanson of Toronto. Mr. Melanson, was born in New Brunswick and has resided in the Cambridge area, for the past 37 years. He was employed in the Auto Body Shop at Queensway Autobody and Forbes Motors, prior to his retirement 13 years ago. He was a Veteran of the Second World War, serving with the RCR in France, Italy, Germany and Belgium. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, on Saturday, April 21, 2001, at 9 a.m. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
