  MAWSON, Cora Peacefully, at St. Luke's Place, Cambridge, on Thursday, Dec. 12, 1996, Cora Irene Stager, formerly of London, in her 88th year. Wife of the late Norman Mawson. Dear mother of David and Lynne of St. Catharines; beloved grandmother of Dylan, Christy and Paula; loved sister of William, Robert, Fred and Harley Stager and Muriel Robson. Mrs. Mawson was amember of St. Barnabas Anglican Church, London. Was a registered nurse and was a veteran of the SecondWorld War. Friends will be received at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 273 Northumberland St., Ayr, on Saturday, Dec, 14th from 2-3 p.m., where funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Rev. Lynne Calhoun of Christ Anglican Church, Ayr, officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery. The Record 13 Dec 1996 pg B4 __________________ Mrs. Norman Mawson - Wilmot Township native Cora Irene Stager, died peacefully at St. Luke's Place, Cambridge, on Thursday, December 12, 1996. She was in her 88th year. Formerly of London, Mrs. Mawson was predeceased by her husband Norman Mawson and by her parents Naomi Schlichter and Ephraim Stager. She was a member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church, London; was a registered nurse and was a veteran of the Second World War. She is survived by her son David and his wife Lynne of St. Catharines; her grandchildren Dylan, Christy and Paula; brothers William, Robert, Fred and Harley Stager and by her sister Muriel Robson. Funeral service was held at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home on Saturday, December 14th. Rev. Lynne Calhoun of Christ Anglican Church, Ayr, officiated. Interment was in Ayr Cemetery.
