  David Hall Brown One of this area's most respected citizens. David Hall Brown of RR 3, Bright, passed away on Monday, December 8th. He was 82. A son of the late Douglas Brown and Isabella Hall. Mr. Brown was born on the llth concession of Blenheim farm where he resided all his life. Mr. Brown gave a helping hand to every major organization in this community. He helped build the Ayr Arena, also the Ayr Curling Club. He was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr, and a life member of Ayr Curling Club. Dearly beloved husband of Esther Kyle and dear father of Edith at home, Barbara of London, Ontario and Douglas of Salmon Arm, B.C. and three grandchildren Predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Jessie) Sherk and Margaret. Resting at Wm. Kipp Funeral Home today (Wed) 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A private funeral Service will be held Thursday. The Ayr News 10 Dec 1980 pg 11
