    • DAHMER, Earl Ronald - Passed away on Monday, September 4, 2006, at Lisaard House, in his 82nd year.Earl Dahmer was born in Reed City, Michigan, on July 30, 1925, son of the late Wesley J. Dahmer, Lutie Lomp and Vera Kurtz. The Dahmer family immigrated to Cambridge (Galt) in 1934, and has lived in that area the greater part of Earl's life. He was well known as a former building contractor, mason and maintenance man.Earl is survived by his daughter, Janice (Hans) Nieuwenhuis; sister, Margaret (the late Jim, 2006) Errington of Lucknow; brothers, Ken (Carol) Dahmer and Carl (Helen) Dahmer and his brother-in-law, Sheldon Martin.He is predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Robina (Ruby Mitchell) in July 2001 and his parents. Also by his brothers, John and Russell Dahmer, both killed in action in 1944 during the Second World War in Italy and his sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Trendall in 1996 and sister, Mary Ann Martin of New Hamburg in 2003.A service for Earl will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at St. James' Anglican Church, 520 Ellis Road, Cambridge with interment to follow at Preston Cemetery.Those who wish may make a memorial donation in Earl's memory to St. James' Anglican Church or Lisaard House.Condolences/donations/directions www.lounsburyfuneralhome.com (519) 658-9366
