  Zehr.- Emanuel B., son of Christian I. and Elizabeth (Bender) Zehr, was born in East Zorra Twp., Ont., Nov. 26. 1893; died at Tavistock, Ont., of a heart attack, Oct. 14, 1968; aged 74 y. 10 m. 18 d. On Sept. 23, 1915, he was married to Emma Brenneman, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons (Austin, Edward, and Elmer), 3 daughters (Elizabeth-Mrs. Amos Zehr, Ada- Mrs. Oliver Yantzi, and Dorothy-Mrs. Orval Lichty), 22 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was a member of the Tavistock Church. Funeral services were held at the East Zorra Church, Oct. 17, with Wilmer R. Martin, Henry Yantzi, and Daniel Wagler officiating; interment in East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery. Gospel Herald - Volume LXI, Number 44 - November 5, 1968, pages 1008
