  DR. E. PEARSON JAMES, of Galt, was found dead in his office on March 27th. Death was due to heart disease. Dr. James graduated in Toronto in 1902, and was a member of the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons. At the time of his death he was thirty-three years of age. The Canadian Medical Journal 1912 May; 2(5): 445\endash 446. ____________ Ephraim Pearson James was born at Campbellford on September 22, 1878, son of George James and Harriett Fraser. He matriculated from the Galt Collegiate High School in 1897; and entered into the study of his chosen profession at the University of Toronto, where he achieved his Medical Degree in 1902. He remained a bachelor. Initially, he served as Surgeon for four years on a transatlantic steamer and for the last six years he established himself in the practice of medicine at Galt where he died in his office on March 27, 1912, aged 33 years, 6 months and 5 days.
