  BRUBACHER, Ernie Ralph Peacefully entered the presence of his Lord, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the age of 66. Ernie served faithfully, for 37 years as a pastor to the following four congregations: Centennial Markham, Parkside Moncton, Crestwicke Guelph and Calvary Pembroke. Dearly loved husband of Jean (nee Small). Cherished father of Jeff (Tracy) of Elora, Heather Weber (Tim) of Waterloo and Andrew (Jen) of Brooklin. Beloved Papa of Luke, Kate, Ben, Charlie, Lauren, Megan and Natalie. Dear brother of Rose Young (Ken) of Grand Rapids, MI, Marvin (Kay) of Cambridge, Don (Zala) of Huntsville, Sharon Harris (Harvey) of Georgetown, Nancy Switzer (Dave) of Strathroy and David (Judy) of Georgetown and brother-in-law of Earl Elliott (Jan) of Kitchener, Ed Elliott (Diane) of Cambridge and Rick Elliott (Barb) of New Brunswick. Ernie will be remembered by his parents, Reuben and Anne and his mother-in-law Dorothy Small. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his father-in-law James Small. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Thursday, March 8, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Forward Baptist Church, 455 Myers Rd., Cambridge on Friday, March 9th, at 11 a.m. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank their special church family at Calvary Baptist Pembroke for their love and care. Also, thanks to the team at the Ottawa General Cancer Centre, the staff of the Grand River Cancer Centre, and the Palliative Care Team for the excellent care given to Ernie.
