______________
Death of F. W. Wilford. Death came suddenly Friday afternoon to F. W. Wilford, which will be learned with sincere regret by his host of friends. The late Mr. Wilford was born in Leicestershire, England, in 1843 and came with his parents to Canada in 1858, locating at Queen's Bush near Crosshill in Wellesley Township. Some years later he married Miss May Aulecknap of Wellesley. They moved to the Township of Maryboro on a farm, he had purchased, near the village of Hollin. Here they lived for 39 years, being successful in farm life. He was a school trustee for 18 years and was highly respected by all. He sold his farm about seven years ago and with his wife moved to Elmira. The deceased is survived by his widow and two brothers, William of near Crosshill and John printer and auctioneer, of Crosshill, and two nephews. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon with interment in Rush's cemetery, near Crosshill.
