  Gerald "Gerry" Dolmage, age 74, passed away at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer, on April 4, 2007. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Hendry) of Bloomingdale, Ontario for 51 years. Loving father of Chuck of Bloomingdale, Patti McGrinder (Morris) of Waterloo, Gary (Laurie) of Kitchener, Tom (Susan) of Waterloo and Rob (Andrea) of Calgary. Cherished grandfather of Anthony, Nathan, Megan and Emma. Survived by his brothers Ed (Jean) of Mitchell, Jim (Marilyn) of Toronto and his sisters Marg Turnbull of Waterloo and Helen Agar (John) of Winnipeg. Dear brother-in-law of Jim Speilvogel (Adéline) of Ottawa, Joan Hackl (Ziggy) of Kitchener and John Hendry (Linda) of Waterloo. Gerry will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Etoile Dolmage; sister Jean Speilvogel; brother-in-law Doug Turnbull and his nephew Matthew Dolmage. Gerry was very active with minor sports, a member of the North Waterloo Rural Softball League as well as an avid billiard player, involved with three different leagues. A proud member of the Fighting Irish and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530, also a member of Bloomingdale United Church. A funeral service for Gerry was held in the Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener. on April 7, 2007. Interment at Bloomingdale Mennonite Cemetery immediately following.
