  EVANS, Gordon Wilbert Passed away on Widnesday, January 7th, 1987, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Gordon Evans of 3 Kingsboro Rd. Cambridge, in his 68th year. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Jean Hammersley and dear father of Richard of Cambridge; Megan (Mrs. George Molotkow) of Calgary. Dear brother of Katherine (Mrs. Horace Page) of Stroud; Verna (Mrs. Jack Little) and Mrs. Grace Hammersley both of Cambridge. Predeceased by a sister, Jean Moore. Mr. Evans was born in Galt, on February 26th, 1919, and has been a resident of Cambridge, all his life and was a veteran of W.W. II and served overseas with the Royal Canadian Regiment. Resting at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, where the family will receive friends on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral and Committal Services will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, January 10th, at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. W. Bickford officiating. Interment at Mount View Cemetery.
