    • GUSTAV E. ROCKEL

      Gustav E. Rockel, 67, formerly of Peppler Street, Waterloo, who moved to Georgetown two years ago, died today in K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Rockel was born in Erbsville but lived in Waterloo most of his life. He retired four years ago after working 50 years with Greb Shoe Company. Mr. Rockel was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, and had been a member of the choir for many yeras. Surviving are his wife, the former Ella Westfall, five sons, Frederick of Los Angeles, Cal., Edward of Kitchener, Robert and Roy of Waterloo, and Jack of Toronto, and two daughters, Helen of Waterloo and Mrs. Edward (Gladys) Malison of Georgetown. There are eight grandchildren. The body is at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, where the funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. by Rev. A L. Conrad. Burial will be in the Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.
