    • Harold R. "Bunny" McGrogan - Harold Reid "Bunny" McGrogan of Ottawa passed away in that city on Wednesday, May 29th. He was in his 86th year. Born in Paris, he was a son of the late Richard McGrogan and Agnes Reid. Harold grew up in Ayr and received his schooling here. Upon leaving Ayr, he spent a short time in Milton before going on to Ottawa where he worked many years for the Department of National Revenue until retiring in 1970. Mr. McGrogan always retained a fondness for his native Ayr. He wrote an excellent article for the Ayr School's 100th anniversary history book and thoroughly enjoyed visiting here during last year's school reunion. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Turner; a son George and his wife Carol of London; two daughters Mary Elizabeth McKenzie of Ottawa and Peggy Jane Chapman of Sault Ste. Marie; also seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held Saturday in Ottawa. Cremation. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
