    • KARGES, Harry (Henry) - At K-W Hospital, on Friday, April 28, 1989, age 68 years, of 196 Dawson St., Waterloo.

      Mr. Karges was born in Waterloo and had been retired from Ontario Die Company as a tool and die maker after 48 years; he was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Waterloo and belonged to the Knights of Columbus, Council 5135, (Third Degree member) and the knights of Columbus Retiree Club.

      Friend and loving husband of Frances (nee Olinski); dear father of Sister Anne Karges, CSJ, Rosemary Karges of Edmonton, Alta., Harry and his wife Shelley, Tom and his wife Melissa, Eleanor and her husband Ken Fields, all of Kitchener-Waterloo and Matthew at home. Sadly missed by grandchildren, Simon and Aaron Fraser, Chad and Christopher James Karges, Warren Karges and Christopher Kenneth Fields.

      Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Cecilia Karges; two brothers, Oliver and Clayton Karges and his wife Monica Karges.

      Mr. Karges' family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday evening, 7-9 pm and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home Monday at 9:30 am, followed by a funeral mass at 10 am at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Waterloo, Father P.T. Sheratt officiating. Interment Parkview cemetery.

      Expressions of sympathy to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Diabetes Association greatly appreciated.

      The rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
