    • LANGLOIS, Hewlett Oaklen

Passed away Saturday night, April 16th at The Sunnyside Home in Kitchener, after a long battle with Alzheimers, one month short of his 84th birthday. Born in Grand Greve, Quebec, he will be greatly missed by his family, friends and community. A very generous, loving man, who was always willing to lend a hand or a snow shovel. Hewlett was involved with his church until recent years and enjoying spending his time, volunteering with both the Optimist Club of East Cambridge and various other projects and schools throughout the area. Hewlett was predeceased by Mildred, his wife of 48 years, in 2003. He leaves behind 5 children and their spouses: Laura and Robert, Dean, Terrence and Sylvia, Beverly and Peter, and Rodney and Lavinia. Hewlett was also blessed with 7 grandchildren: Lux, Luna, Ethan, Alex, Jeremy, Zachary and Elizabeth. He will never be forgotten. Special thanks to the staff of the Alzheimer's Day Program at Sunnyside for giving him purpose and making him feel useful again. Friends will be received at the T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 21st at 10 AM. Internment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery in Cambridge.
