  Plate, Mrs. Edgar (Hilda) - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Monday, Nov. 12, 1979, after a lengthy illness, the former Hilda Boyd, of 32 Montrose Ave., Kitchener, age 74 years. A member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, born in Plattsville. She was a member of the Silver Cross Mothers and the Breithaupt Senior Citizens Centre. Wife of Edgar Plate; mother of Robert of Kitchener, and Jack of Kingsville; sister of Harry of Kitchener, Bernard of Chicago, Virgie (Mrs. Isadore Lambombard) of Chatham and Edith (Mrs. Herbert Garner) of Mount forest. Three grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by her parents, Daniel Boyd and the former Emma Pohl, one daughter Marjorie, one son Leroy, one brother Lorne, one sister Grace (Mrs. Milt Wisner). Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 pm, with Rev. Terry Pitts officiating.
