  FUREY, John (Jacko) Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's, at Simcoe Manor, Becton. Ontario, on Monday, October 9, 2006, in his 79th year. John Furey of Cambridge, beloved husband of the late Dympna Furey (nee Slade). Dear father of Roseanne and John Brierley of Becton, Gary and Catherine Furey and Bill and Kathy Furey, both of Cambridge, Joan and Tom Zammit, Dean Furey, Mary Lou and Ralph Rubino, all of Mississauga. Cherished by fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and also survived by sisters, Catherine Haines of Cambridge and Nell Kitchener of Nfld. Friends were received at Little's Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street East, Cambridge, Wednesday, 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish rosary was recited at the funeral home on Thursday evening, at 8: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Chalmers St., S., Cambridge, on Friday, October 13, 2006 (today), at 10 a.m., interment, Mount View Cemetery.
