  SCHELHAS, Joseph L. Of Thurman Place, Cambridge, died peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday, July 24, 1995, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Helen Nadrofsky; dear father of Laurraine and her husband Douglas Ottmann of Cambridge and Laurretta and her husband Ladislaus Bauer of RR 1, Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by six grandchildren, Michele Freer, Michael and Paul Ottmann, Angela Straus, Stephen Bauer and Theresa Schaefer and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Gertrude Schelhas and two brothers, Herbert and Lloyd. Mr. Schelhas was born in Kitchener and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was employed with the Grand River Railway, for 40 years retiring in 1978. A member of St. Clement's RC Parish. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenaton Rd., Cambridge, today (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, July 27, at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
