  BYRNE, Kevin Francis - Passed away suddenly, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, surrounded by his family. He was born at Bell Island, Nfld. July 13, 1939. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Doreen Byrne. Dear father of Kerry (Charlotte), Glen (Leila) and Kevin (Wendy). Beloved Poppy of Blake, Randy, Bailey, Katie and Zachary. Loving brother of Jim (Daphne), Bill (Amy), Nancy (Bill); all of Cambridge, Maria of Toronto, Beth and Minnie of Newfoundland. Kevin will be missed by brothers-in-law, John (Roselita) and Leo of St. John's, Nfld.; sister-in-law, Rose Byrne of Cambridge, several nieces and nephews and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Mildred Byrne (nee Snow); sister, Molly and brother, Patrick. Kevin was an honorary life member of the Cambridge Newfoundland Club and served three terms on their Board of Directors. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Friday evening at 8: 30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's RC Church, Wellington Street, Cambridge, on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
