  • Notes
    • I did find my mothers birth registration she was born in 1914 but was not registered until 1918 our family sort of always assumed that while Alfred Granger was her father he was not married to her mother My mother always said she lived with her mother Mary Ann Taylor and grandmother. The grandmother died when she Laura was quite young. She always said that she came home from school one day and there was a man there that said her mother had died and she went to the orphanage with only a small suitcase.. She was there for about a year then was taken in by John and Bessie McNair. A Granger contact told me that Alfred had many illegitimate children.
