      At his residence, 114 First Ave., (Preston), Cambridge, Tuesday, April 16, 1974, Lawrence B. Woods, beloved husband of Betty Hedges; dear father of Victoria, Nancy and Wendy of Preston, in his 47th year. Mr. Woods was born in Galt and had resided in Preston, for 40 years; he was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Preston and past governor of the Kinsmen Club district one. Survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William C. Woods of Preston and one sister Betty (Mrs. Malcolm Santer) of Don Mills. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner Queen and Argyle Sts., (Preston), Cambridge, for funeral service, Thursday, at 2 p.m. Interment in Preston cemetery.
