  Rathwell, Lillian 'Nellie' … passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 25, 2012 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Andy Barber, Bill Purchette and George Rathwell. Loving mother of Olive McMurran and step mother of Jane, Betty Anne, Wayne, Frieda and Bill. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents William and Sarah, son Andy Barber, daughter Laura Tone, step daughters Violet and Ina, step son Jay Purchette, brother William Quinton and sister Laura Spies. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Friday July 27, 2012 (today) from 6-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday July 28, 2012 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
