  FUNERAL OF MISS ARMSTRONG The funeral of Miss Margaret Armstrong, Ripley, who died in her 69th year on Saturday night at Kincardine Hospital, took place to Ayr Cemetery on Monday afternoon. Rev. J. W. Currie officiated, and the pallbearers were: Murdo McRae, Alex McRae, M. M. Robson. Murdo Lillico, George Stockton and R. A. McRuer, all of Ayr. The father of the deceased was the first teacher of the Reidsville school. She was born in Ayr and lived here a short time. The Ayr News Sep 10 1942 pg 6
