  SCHMITT, Ross William -- On January 31, 1990, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener. Dearly loved son of Alfred Schmitt of RR 3, Waterloo and the late Ella Schmitt. Brother of Floyd and his wife Ellen, Grace and her husband William Downs, all of St. Jacobs, Yvonne and her husband Gerald Such of Waterloo and Barbara and her husband Rolf Gumpert of RR 2. Branchton. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 530, the K-W Naval Association and the Waterloo Masonic Lodge No. 539. Mr. Schmitt's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., on Friday. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, on Saturday at 10: 30 a.m., with Rev. Everett Mossmann officiating. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens, Breslau.
