  GOETTLING, Sangster Albert, 1920-2007 - Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in his 87th year, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Dear father of Ron (Wendy) of New Hamburg and Karen and her husband Joe Reinhart of Kitchener. Sangster will be sadly missed by his grandchildren and his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth of Kitchener. Special dad to Sheila, Kim and Darren (Rose) Longpre. Predeceased by his parents; his beloved wife of 57 years, the former Helen Eckstein in 2005 and one son, Rob in 2006. He was the last surviving member of his family. Sangster had farmed all his life on the farm where he was born and was a longtime member of the Wilmot Centre Missionary Church. Friends may call at the Ratz- Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King St. West, Kitchener, on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday at the Wilmot Centre Missionary Church, 2463 Bleams Rd., Petersburg from 1-2 p.m. The funeral service will be from the church at 2 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Domm and Pastor Donald Mills officiating. Interment will be in the Wilmot Centre Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Wilmot Centre Missionary Church Building Fund or the Village of Hope in Burkina Faso as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home.
