  LORENTZ, Shirley Passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at her home in New Hamburg. She was born 84 years ago in Wellesley Township and was the daughter of the late Alvin and Esther (Pauli) Forler. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Lorentz who predeceased her November 16, 1994. Loving mother of Bill and Caroline Lorentz of Stratford, Greg Lorentz and Vivian Wong of Toronto, Lennie Lorentz, Karen Lorentz both of Kitchener, Mike and Gina Lorentz of Grimsby, Gerry Lorentz and Peg Zokowski of Albany, New York, Tom Lorentz of Kitchener and Joanne and Andre Lefebvre of Alberta. Sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Remembered by her brothers and sisters Patricia Kropf, Claude and Elaine Forler, Martha Wagner, George and Shirley Forler, Alvin and Marilyn Forler, Margaret Forler, Connie Forler, Paula and Robert Povey and Tim and Susan Forler. Shirley was predeceased by her son Christopher and daughter Cheryl both in infancy, grand- daughter Katie, sisters Gertrude and Helene, brothers-in-law Emmett Kropf and Clayton Wagner. Shirley was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg and the Wilmot Seniors Woodworking. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Shirley's life will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 11: 00 a.m. with Pastor Anne Anderson and Pastor Andre Lavergne officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to McMaster Children's Hospital or Trinity Lutheran Church.
