  GOOD, Susie Marie "Mama Shantz" Passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at her home Nithview Community, New Hamburg. She was born 91 years ago in Waterloo County and was the daughter of the late Wilfrid and Lauretta (Fried) Wanner. Loving wife of the late Wayne S. Shantz who predeceased her in 1977 and the late LeRoy Good who predeceased her in 2011. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gloria and Garry Spencer of Newton, Pauline and Dave Weber of Mildmay, Mark and Monica Shantz of Baden, Keith and Brenda Shantz of Kitchener, Ralph and Sandra Bean of Wellesley. Sadly missed by 8 grand-children and 14 great-grandchildren. Remembered by the Good Family, Dale and Doreen, Robert and Sandra, Carl and Joyce and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ivy Musselman, Dorothy Shantz both of New Hamburg and sister-in-law of John Hofstetter of Woodstock. Susie was predeceased by her children Esther in infancy, Martha Bean, David Shantz, grandson Robert, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Willard and Kathleen Becker, Margaret and Oliver Bean, Myrtle (Rosenburger) and Peter Vanderschoot, Ward and Helen Becker, Cleo and Harry Brodhaecker, Elgin Musselman, Reta Hofstetter, Melvin Shantz and Lorne Rosenburger. Susie was a member of Wilmot Mennonite Church, New Hamburg. She loved to quilt and cook for family and friends. Family and friends may call at the Wilmot Mennonite Church, (2995 Bleams Road, New Hamburg) on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 3: 00 p.m. at Wilmot Mennonite Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Nithview Community, New Hamburg.
