  New Hamburg Independent, January 8, 1960 Mrs. Elmor Hofstetter Mrs. Elmor Hofstetter of Baden passed away at her residence early Thursday morning following a lengthy illness. She was the former Sylba Leona Betzner, and was born at Doon July 1st, 1887, a daughter of the late Moses B. Betzner and the former Leah Kolb. She was a member of Zion Evangelical UB Church, New Hamburg, and also of the W.SW.S. of the church. She is survived by her husband, to whom she was married at Kitchener October 4, 1920. Also surviving are two sons, Eugene of New Hamburg, Oray of Baden, a brother, Herbert V. Betzner of Grimsby and five grandchildren. She resided in Baden since her marriage. The remains are resting at the Futher Omand Funeral Home, New Hamburg where services will be held Sunday, January 10 at 2: 00 p.m. The Rev. F. Paul Erb will officiate and internment will follow in Wilmot Centre Cemetery.
