  SMITH, Meryl - After a Ienghty illness on Friday July 14, 2000 at Freeport Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital, in her 91st year. She was a former resident of Ayr and Cambridge. Beloved wife of the late George Smith. She is survived by nieces and nephews in London and Barrie. She is the last surviving member of the family. Friends may call at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home & Chapel, 51 Benton at Church Sts., Kitchener (742-4481), on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers will be recited from the Funeral Home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by transfer to St. Anthony Daniel RC Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Father Ed House celebrant. Parish Prayers will be said Sunday at 3:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home. Interment following cremation in Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
