    • PRESTON- The funeral for William Cockburn Beattie, 87 of 255 Lowther St. S., Preston who died Thursday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Knox Presbyterian Church here Entombment will be in Mountview Mausoleum, Galt. The body is at the T. Little and Son Funeral Home, Galt.

      BEATTIE, William Cockburn, 255 Lowther St. S., Preston, passed away at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt, today in his 88th year. Surviving are his wife, the former Naomi Detwiler, one son, Francis F. Beattie of Ancaster: two daughters, Mrs. Carman (Elizabeth) Treen of Hamilton and Mrs. Ira (Ruth) Good of Winnipeg; two sisters. Jessie and Lilly Beattie, both of Hamilton; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at T. Little and Son Funeral Home at 49 Grand Ave. N.. Galt Time and place of service will be announced tomorrow.
