  Death Follows Severe Illness Mr. William Cunningham Passes Away at his Home Here One of the well-known citizens of Elmira passed to the great beyond at one o'oclock this morning when the death occurred of Mr. William Cunningham following several weeks' of severe illness due to heart complications, which were aggravated by a paralytic stroke a fortnight ago. Born in Wellesley township near Hawkesville, the son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Cunningham he lived on the home farm until his marriage to Rose A. Bulmer, when he settled on a farm on the third line of Peel township. After four years' residence here, they went west for two years but returning again settled on the same concession where they lived for another eleven years, when they came to Elmira, where they have resided for the past four years. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Robert and Allison of Elmira. The late Mr. Cunningham was born on February 10th, 1872. He was a member of the Masonic order and attended the Methodist Church. The funeral will be held on Sunday and will be under Masonic auspices. Elmira Signet, February 26, 1925
