    • An Aged and Respected Resident of Galt

      There died Thursday, at the residence of her son, Mr. Alex. Taylor, Blair road, Mary, widow of the late James Taylor, aged 87 years. Deceased was a. native of Aberdeenshire, Scotland and has been in this country, over forty years, the greater portion of that time she being a resident of Galt. She was a lady of more than ordinary intelligence and was highly respected throughout the town. Her husband died a number of years ago. For some time after his death, she lived alone, but as she found old age and infirmities creeping over her, she gave up the house and went to reside with her son. Deceased leaves four sons, Alfred and Alexander, Galt and two in the United States.
