    • Mrs. Mary Ann Brown

      PRESTON - Mrs. Mary Ann Brown, 80, of 317 Middle St., died early today in South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. She had been in hospital five months. Mrs. Brown was born at Warrington, Lancashire, England and came to Preston in 1911. She attended St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church here and was a member of the Catholic Women's League and the Altar Society. Her husband, John William Brown, died in 1949. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Catherine) Gillings, and Mrs. William (Cecilia) Moore, both of Preston; Mrs. Wesley (Irene) Davis, Aylmer; Sister M. Jean Marie (Theresa), Hamilton; Miss Elizabeth Brown, Montreal. There are six grandchildren and four greatgrand-children. The body will be at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home, Preston, until Thursday morning when requiem high mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's Church at 9 a.m., with burial at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
