  CHARLES IRVIN GOY PRESTON. Nov. 16— Suffering a stroke Monday night, Charles Irwin Goy, died in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, last night. He was 52 years old. Born in Montreal he lived in that city and in Guelph before coming to Preston eight years ago. He was employed by S. J. Cherry and Son. Identified with the Anglican church he was also a member of the Orange lodge. He is survived by one son, John Henry of Acton, four brothers, Fred, John, George and Donald all of Guelph, and three sisters, Mrs. R. L. Gordon and Mrs. Walter MacDonald both of Guelph and Mrs. Peter Sim of Rockwood. His wife predeceased him five years ago. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2.30.
