Notes - Oesch, Sarah Ivadel (Sadie) R.N. Died peacefully at Grand River Hospital, surrounded by her family on December 20, 2014; Sadie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Maurice J. Oesch of Waterloo, by her sister-in law Loretta Burgetz, by her sisters Shirley Freeborn, Donna Langdon (Ken Brohman), Elaine Coutts (Gary), and her brother John Hayes (Sue Brown); predeceased by her brother Robert Hayes and her sister Betty Hellyer. Sadie was a proud mother to Suzanne Urban (Dave Gowing), Coleen Reitzel (Paul), John Oesch (Sarah), Maureen Clinan-Smith (Brian), Sara Lynn Cleave (Dave) and the late Bradley Oesch (Candice Wunder). She is fondly remembered by her sixteen grandchildren and as Aunt Sadie by members of her extended families. Sadie graduated with the St. Mary's Hospital Nursing class of 1958 and enjoyed a long and varied career. She was a proud member of the Ontario Women's Institute, Parkminster United Church, and gave great energy to many community organizations in K-W. Her family will receive relatives and friends at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1C7 on Monday December 22, 2104 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at 11 am. in the funeral home chapel. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Ray of Hope in her honour through the funeral home.
