  LINFOOT, George B. At Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Thursday, Dec. 24, 1987, in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Mary Stewart and dear father of Edith (Mrs. Fred Hoag) of Fergus. Also survived by one grandson, George. Mr. Linfoot was born in Yorkshire, England and had been a resident of Cambridge, since 1923. A member of St. John's Anglican Church, Preston Masonic Lodge, a veteran of the First World War, serving with the British Army, life member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 126. Friends will be received at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd.. Cambridge, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in St. John's Anglican Church, Monday, at 1.30 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
