  Body found in river near Cambridge hospital CAMBRIDGE - A body was discovered in the Grand River on Thursday morning by a police search team. Officers were canvassing the area near Cambridge Memorial Hospital as part of a missing person investigation. An identity had not been confirmed on Thursday afternoon. The body was found at about 10: 30 a.m. near Coronation Boulevard. Officers had been looking for a 23-year-old male patient who left the hospital at about 4: 30 p.m. on Tuesday but didn't return. Police at the time said there were concerns for his well being. Officers searched the area on Tuesday, and returned Wednesday morning. The Cambridge Fire Department assisted in Thursday's recovery effort; firefighters and police officers aboard an airboat brought the victim back to River Bluffs Park, across the river from the hospital. Police said the public should expect an increased presence in the area as the Special Victims Unit conducts an investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-570-9777.
