  STEPHEN T. STANDO, 74, of Hawthorne died Thursday. Born in Canada, he came to the United States in 1953. Before retiring in 1978, he was a foundryman for Williamson Foundry, Carlstadt. He was a Canadian army veteran. Surviving are two brothers, Sigmund Petrinka and John Petrinka, both in Canada. His wife, Stephanie Nadorozny Stando, died in 1988. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne, with burial in Fair Lawn Cemetery.
