  VAN MEYL, John Henrik Born in The Netherlands, 1921, John went home to be with his Lord and beloved wife Ann "Annie" Van Meyl and daughter Marie "Ria" Stephens on Friday, October 14, 2016 in his 95th year. John immigrated to Canada in 1952, with his cherished wife. Loving father of Louie and John Jr. Dear Opa of Christine (Bradley) Freiburger and great-Opa of Scott and Kevin Freiburger. He was a long time employee of Babcock & Wilcox and was a licensed and proud Ham Radio Operator. John is predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Marie (nee Kaelen) Van Meyl. Family and friends will be received at the T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge N1R 1X2 (519) 623-1290 on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, from 2: 00 - 4: 00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory's Roman Catholic Church, 10 St. Gregory's Drive, Cambridge N1S 3Z1 on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
