    Gottfried Brutzki

    Gottfried Brutzki, 9 Main street, a resident of Waterloo for 17 years, died suddenly on Monday at his home. He was in his 72nd year.
    Mr. Brutzki was born in Germany. He came to Canada 50 years ago. He was employed at Snyder Bros. Ltd., until his retirement seven years ago.

    His wife predeceased him nine years ago and Mr. Brutzki is survived by five sons, Clayton of Bloom- ingdale, Gordon of Detroit, Edward of Ayr, Ivan and William at home. and three daughters, Mrs. Richard Mitchell, Ayr, Mrs. Herman Baer Brantford, and Nellie at home.

    The funeral will be held from his residence today (Thursday) at 2 p.m.. thence to Emmanuel Evangelical church for service at 2.30. Interment will be made at Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.

    WITMER. On the 27th of January, in Huron county, Ont., Bro. Christian Witmer, aged 67 years, 2 months and 25 days. He was buried on the 29th; services by H. B. Detweiler and E. Snyder. He leaves a widow and nine children. We hope their loss is his eternal gain.
