He was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church; was employed by Koch Transport for 23 years, until his retirement, June 29, 1984. Beloved husband of the former Valentina Winter; dear father of Larry and his wife Sharon of Kitchener, Marilyn and her husband Dave Fewster of Baden; grandfather of Jason, Jenny-Lynn, Jeffery, Bradley and Brent; brother of Gordon, Norman and Lorne all of Tavistock, Ruby (Mrs. Clinton Hofstetter) of London, Ont. and Pear (Mrs. Edward Vogt) of Guelph. Predeceased by his parents, one sister and one brother. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Tuesday, when removal will be made to Reformation Lutheran Church, 456 Krug St., Kitchener for the funeral service at 1 p.m., Rev. Andrew Paulsen officiating. Interment Memory Gardens.
