Mrs. Norman Kraatz, 218 Dawson St., Waterloo, died Friday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Milton, she was "the former Elta McFerran, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert McFerran. She was married in Guelph in 1938 and moved to Kitchener in 1939. She was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Waterloo.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Patricia, at home; two brothers, Norman Mt. Brydges, and Vernon, Chino Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Aikins, Gravenhurst, and Mrs Kenneth (Violet) Dickson, London, Ont.

"The body is at the Gruhn Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Norman Lange. Burial will, be in Memory Gardens.
