Born at Darlington, Ontario on 3 January 1887, son of John Worden (1845-?) and Charity Osborne (1851-?), he married Margaret Louise Liddy (1891-?) at Waterloo, Ontario on 3 August 1915. He became a teacher and briefly worked in Winnipeg as Principal of Principal Sparling School (1914-1916). His career continued in Ontario, teaching until the 1940s. He retired to Toronto during the 1950s. His whereabouts after this time are unknown.
