    Notes:

Death of Mrs. Martin Nelson, of Berlin

After years of patient suffering, there passed away at Berlin, on Saturday last Agnes Amos, wife of Mr. Martin Nelson, in the 31st year of her age. The deceased was a daughter of the late Walter Amos, of Dumfries, and was for many years a resident of Galt. She removed with her husband to Berlin some five or six years ago, and has since lived in that town, where she made many friends. The funeral took place at Galt on Monday, the remains arriving by the 1:15 p. m. train, and being conveyed from thence to Galt cemetery. A large number of friends from Berlin, as well as from this town, assembled to pay the last token of respect to one so universally respected. Mrs. Nelson leaves a sorrowing husband and two children to lament her early death.
