    ALBRECHT, Emanuel (Jake) - Of Conestoga Crest, Drayton and formerly of Palmerston, passed away, peacefully, at Palmerston Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family, on Wednesday, July 16, 2003, in his 86th year. He was born on January 16, 1918 in Mornington township, son of the late Jacob and Magdalena (Steinman) Albrecht. Beloved husband of Laurene Albrecht (nee Schultz) for 63 years; dear father of Ruth Ann and Duane Wharram of RR 1, Gowanstown, Kenneth and Gwen Albrecht of New Hamburg, Leonard and Lynette Albrecht of RR 2, Moorefield, Laurie and Ron Yungblut of RR 2, Palmerston, Janet and Robert Richmond of RR 1, New Dundee and Mary Lou and Elgin Shantz of Waterloo. Predeceased by one son, Donald (Reb) Albrecht (1989) and his wife Jean (2000). Fondly remembered by 18 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Loving brother of Clara Schlegel of Kitchener, Lena and Robert Shantz of New Hamburg, Harry and Lucille of Kitchener, George and Edith of London, Ervin and Marjorie, Eileen and Gordon Woolner and Armand and Elenore, all of Kitchener. Predeceased by two sisters, Selina Boshart and her husband Enos, Verna Seimon and her husband Carl; one brother, Lorne and his wife Emma and one brother-in-law, Alvin Schlegel, as well as five half-sisters and two half-brothers. The family received friends at the Community Mennonite Fellowship Church, Drayton on Friday, July 18, 2003 from 7-9 p.m. and will receive friends on Saturday, July 19, 2003 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Rev. Willard Metzger and Pastor Ron Weber will conduct the Funeral Service in the Community Mennonite Fellowship Church, Drayton, on Sunday, July 20, 2003 at 3 p.m. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematorium, Waterloo, followed by a private family graveside Service and Interment of Cremated Remains in Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Palmerston Hospital Foundation, Community Mennonite Fellowship (Drayton) or Christian Peacemakers Team would be appreciated by the family.Arrangements entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.

    Died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1971, at the Fairview Mennonite Home in Preston, formerly of Poole; 85 years of age, former Magdelena Steinman, dear mother of Lorne and Armand, both of Milverton; Emanuel and George of Moorefield; Harry of Kitchener; Irvin of Wellesley, Selina (Mrs. Enos Boshart) of Seaforth, Clara (Mrs. Alvin Schlegel) of Tavistock, Verna (Mrs. Carl Siemon) of Route 2, Walton, Lena (Mrs. Robert Shantz) of Baden, Eileen (Mrs. Gordon Wollner) of Waterloo; step-daughter Kate (Mrs. William Rupp) of Millbank, step-son of Aaron of Middlebury, Indiana, Amos of Brunner; brother of Ezra of Buffalo, New York, Katie (Mrs. Jacob Moser) Croghan, New York, and Mary of Preston; also survived by 48 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; predeceased by her husband in 1928 and also by four step-daughters and seven brothers.
    Friends may call at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, Friday evening from 7 to 9 and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, noon Sunday the remains will be removed to the Poole Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2: 30. Rev. Amsey Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be shown by contributions to the Western Ontario Mennonite Mission Board.

    Noah Schultz, 82, of concession 3, Wellesley Township, died on Sunday, January 1st, at the K-W Hospital after an eight \endash month illness. Born in Petersburg, August 3rd, 1878, he was a son of the late John Schultz and his wife, the former Barbara Schultz. He farmed in Wellesley Township all his life and was a member of the Nafziger Amish Mennonite Church, West of Poole. His wife the former Annie Nafziger, died July 5th, 1955. Survivors include five sons, Samuel, of Kingwood; Christian, of Niagara Falls, Ont.; John, of Millbank; Nelson and William, of R.R. 1, Milverton; six daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Sarah) Jutzi, of R.R. 1, Gadshill; Miss Madeline, of Hamilton; Mrs. Allan (Catherine) Schultz, of Topping; Mrs. Elvy (Elizabeth) Bast, of Millbank; Mrs. Lorne (Emma) Albrecht, of R.R. 1, Milverton; Mrs. Emmanuel (Laurene) Albrecht, of Gowanstown; two sisters, Mrs. Samuel (Elizabeth) Leis, of Kingwood, and Mrs. Samuel (Mary) Bast, of Wellesley; 42 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. One son, David and one daughter, Mrs. M. (Mary) Lichti, predeceased him. The body rested at the home of his son, Nelson, R.R. 1, Milverton, where a short service was conducted Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at the Maple View Amish Mennonite Church at 2:15 p.m. Bishop Christian Streicher officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

    WELLESLEY Mrs. Noah Schultz, 74, of RR 1, Milverton, died at Stratford General Hospital Tuesday after an illness of two weeks.
    Born at Topping, she was a member of Nafziger's Amish Mennonite Church and was a daughter of the late Christian and Magdelina Nafziger.

    Surviving are her husband; five son, Samuel, Kingwood; Christian, Niagara Falls; John, Millbank; Nelson and William, both of Milverton; seven daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Sarah) Jutzi, Gadshill; Miss Madeline, Hamilton; Mrs. Allan (Catherine) Schultz. Milverton; Mrs. Elroy (Elizabeth) Bast, Millbank; Mrs. Mannasah (Mary) Lichti, St. Jacobs; Mrs. Lorne (Emma), Albrecht, Milverton; Mrs. Emmanuel (Laurene) Albrecht, Gowanstown; two broth ers, Enos, Waterloo; David, Topping; one sister, Mrs. John Boshart, Seaforth. Thirty-nine grand- children and two great grandchildren also survive.

    The body is at the residence where funeral service will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service at Maple View Amish Mennonite Church at 2:30 p.m. Bishop Samuel Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

    Schultz. - Barbara Schultz was born in Waterloo Co., Ont., Jan. 25, 1846; died Oct. 30, 1934; aged 88 y. 9 m. 5 d. About 67 years ago she was married to John S. Schultz who died in 1926. To this union were born 3 sons and 5 daughters. One son (Solomon) died in 1895 and Mattie (Mrs. Michael Wagler) died in 1934. There survive her 2 sons (John and Noah) and 4 daughters (Katie -- Mrs. C. S. Kennel, Barbara --Mrs. David Lichti, Mary -- Mrs. Sam Bast, and Lizzie -- Mrs. Sam E. Leis, with whom she had made her home the last 10 years); also 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She united with the A. M. Church in Wilmot Twp. in her youth, later moving to Wellesley Twp., where she was buried. Services were conducted at the home by Peter Boshart and at the Maple View A. M. Church by Peter Nafziger, J. R. Bender and Dan Lebold. Burial in adjoining cemetery.
