    WIDMEYER, Carl At St. Catharines General Hospital, on Sunday, April 19, 1987, Carl Widmeyer, in his 70th year, of 524 Vine St., St. Catharines. Beloved husband of Gretta Widmeyer; dear father of Beverly Hofkamp of Prince Albert, Sask., Bonnie Reeve of Milton, Brenda Johnston and Paul Widmeyer, both of St. Catharines. Survived by a brother, Wilf Widmeyer of Orillia and a sister, Bert Sterner of Wiarton. Also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Widmeyer is resting at the Niagara Street Chapel of the Butler Funeral Home, 424 Niagara St., St. Catharines. There will be a complete funeral service held in the chapel on Wednesday, April 22 at 1 p.m. Interment Riverside cemetery, New Hamburg.

    Albert M. Widmeyer - A day before his 67th birthday, Albert M. Widmeyer of 657 Guelph St., died suddenly Friday at K-W Hospital. Born in Normanby Township he came to Kitchener in 1928 and worked for the Kaufman Lumber Company. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. A son of the late Alfred Widmeyer and the former Wilhelmina Schenk, who is surviving, he is also survived by his wife, the former Clara Weltz whom he married at Ayton in April, 1911; two sons, Wilbert of Orillia, Carl of New Hamburg; one daughter, Mrs. Reginald (Alberta) Steffler of Kitchener; two brothers, David of Kitchener, Oscar of Ayton; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Emma) Liebold and Mrs. Clarence (Gertrude) Hill, both of Kitchener, Mrs. George (Alfredo) Maes of Hanover; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One son and one daughter predeceased him. The body is at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Tuesday when it will be taken to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church for funeral at 3 o'clock. Friends are asked to pay their respects at the church before the funeral begins, Rev. Dr. Ray Houser will officiate in the absence of Rev. Dr. John Schmieder, Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
