    BRETZ, REBECCA (Nee Jacobs)

    In East Wawanosh Township, on Monday, April 2, 1888, in her 56, h( 55 years and 3 months) year. Wife of Gerhard Bretz. She suffered for several months with consumption and was reduced to a mere skeleton. Her body was interred in Brandon's Cemetery on Wednesday, the funeral being well attended, considering the roads. She leaves her husband and four children to mourn the loss of a loving wife and affectionate mother.

    -Daughter of Robert Jacobs and Ann Bailey of Morriston.

    -One of her children was Annie (Mrs. Hugh Ross), Two other children may have been Will and Bessie Bretz of Oklahoma.
