    HAYSVILLE - Elmer S. Boshart of Haysville died suddenly at his home Wednesday. He was 55. Born in Wilmot Township Dec. 15, 1912, he was a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. David Boshart.

    He lived in Wilmot Township all his life. A member of Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley, he was employed at Canada Blower and Forge Co., Kitchener. One daughter, Doris Ann, predeceased him in infancy. Surviving at his wife, the former Barbara Lebold; three sons, Carl of RR 2, Petersburg, and Paul and Ross, both at home; seven daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Marlene) Martz of Kitchener, Mrs. Gerald (Dorene) Brenneman of London, Ont., Mrs. Carl (Norma) Steinman of New Hamburg, Mrs. Basil (Janet) Plebon of Kitchener, Mrs. Ted (Shirley) Wroblewski and Mrs. Murray (Linda) Frey, both of New Hamburg, and Mary Lou, at home; two brothers, Delton of RR 2, Petersburg and Floyd of Baden; two sisters, Mrs. John (Ruby) Miles of RR 2, Petersburg, and Mrs. Gerald (Alice) Riehl of New Hamburg; 13 grandchildren. The body will be at the Bruce J. Omand Funeral Home, New Hamburg, until Saturday noon, when removal will be made to the Steinman Mennonite Church, Baden, for a funeral service at 3 p.m. Rev. Chris O. Erb of Maple View Mennonite Church will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    ELMER S. BOSHART

    Elmer S. Boshart of Haysville died at his home last Wednesday. He was 55. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Boshart.

    He was employed at Canada Blower and Forge Co., Kitchener, and was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley.

    He was predeceased by one daughter. Doris Ann.

    Surviving are his wife, the former Barbar Lebold; three sons, Carl of RR 2, Petersburg, Paul and Boss., both at home; seven daughters. Mrs. Gordon (Marlene) Martz or Kitchener, Mrs. Gerald (Dorene) Brenneman of London, Mrs. Carl (Norma) Steinman of New Hamburg. Mrs. Basil (Janet) Plebon of Kitchener, Mrs. Ted (Shirley) Wroblewski and Mrs. Murray (Linda) Frey, both of New Hamburg, and Mary Lou at home; two brothers, Delton of RR 2.     Funeral services were held at Steinman Mennonite Church, Baden. Rev. Chris O. Erb of Maple View Mennonite Church officiating.

    Burial took place in the church cemetery.

    LEBOLD, Mrs. Christian


    WELLESLEY-Mrs. Christian Lebold, of Wellesley died at her home Sunday after a lengthy illness. She was 81.
    Born in Ellice Township, she was the former Elizabeth Albright, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Albright.
    Mrs. Lebold had lived in Wellesley for 11 years and was a member of the Maple View Mennonite Church.

    She was predeceased by her husband in 1961 and by two sons, three brothers and three sisters.

    Surviving are five sons, Erven and Edward, both of Wellesley, John of New Hamburg, Alvin of Tavistock and Lloyd of Waterloo; six daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Mary Ann) Leis of Chesley, Mrs. Elmer (Barbara) Boshart of Haysville, Mrs. Kenneth (Clara) Roth of Elmira, Mrs. Levi (Laurene) Kuepfer of Newton, Mrs. Aaron (Ruth) Kuepfer of RR 2, Wellesley and Freda of Wellesley; two brothers, Christian and Menno, both of New Dundee; two sisters Mrs. Daniel R (Nancy) Erb of RR 1, Millbank and Mrs. Ezra (Mattie) Boshart of Milverton; 66 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

    The body will be at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home until noon Wednesday when removal will be made to the Maple View Mennonite Church for service at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    Steinman - Daniel H Steinman was born in Waterloo Co., Ont., April 26, 1857; died Feb. 22, 1935; aged 77 y. 9 m. 27 d. He had been ailing, more or less, over a period of two years. He was received into the Wilmot A.M. Church by water baptism on June 21, 1874, in which faith he remained to the end. On Nov. 6, 1883, he was united in holy matrimony to Barbara Gascho. Eleven children were born to them - 5 sons and 6 daughters, of whom 4 sons and 2 daughters predeceased him. On Dec. 10, 1893, he was ordained to the office of deacon, and on Nov. 3, 1894, to the ministry. On July 4, 1898, he was ordained to the office of bishop, in which office he served the Wilmot A.M. congregation as long as health permitted, and also in the neighboring congregations when necessary. In his ministry as bishop, he baptized 361 persons and performed 151 marriage ceremonies. He leaves his beloved companion, 2 sons, 4 daughters, 21 grandchildren, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. Funeral services were conducted at the Steinman Church near Baden on Feb. 26, by Bro. D. Lebold at the home, and by Bro. Nevin Bender of Delaware, Bro. Chris Schultz, and Bro. D. Iutzi.
