    HALLMAN, Karen A. Peacefully, surrounded by family, following a short illness at Grand River Hospital on Thursday, February 20, 2014, in her 73rd year. Predeceased by her loving husband Douglas F. Hallman (1995). Loving mother to Tricia Loveday (Todd) and Troy (Kim). Cherished grandmother to Ryan Loveday (fiancée Hayley Backewich), Tyler Loveday, Meaghan Loveday (Tanner Pearson) and Kyle Hallman. Remembered by her sister-in-law Marjorie Hallman (Terry Hallman - deceased) and a niece and nephew. Predeceased by her parents Doris and Lloyd Sararas. The family would like to thank Dr. T. Borys, Doctors and Nurses at St. Mary's and Grand River as well as everyone who provided Mom medical attention the past couple of years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Karen with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday from 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harold Brill officiating. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery Kitchener. Reception to follow in the fireside room of the funeral home.     ADAM FREDERICK YUNGBLUD

    TAVISTOCK, May 9. A resident of East Zorra since 1888, Adam Frederick Yungblud, 81, succumbed at his home, Lot 30, Concession 12, early this morning, following a stroke which he suffered last Thursday. Born at Sebastopol, April 11, 1863, the son of the late Werner Yungblud and Catharine Weitzel, he resided at Sebastopol until his marriage in November, 1887, to the former Catharine Mogk, when he took up residence in East Zorra. Mr. Yungblud was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Sebastopol.

    Surviving are his widow; four sons, Albert, Battle Creek, Mich.; Harry, Detroit; William, Tavistock and Jack at home; five daughters, Mrs. E. Chapman, Mrs. Fred Loth, Mrs. Lloyd Sararas, Miss Florence Yungblud, all of Kitchener, and Mrs. Norman Mather. Detroit. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Wagner, Auburn, Ont, and Mrs. Albert Quintern, Medina, N.Y.

    The remains are resting at the late residence where the funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Sebastopol, for funeral services. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

    TAVISTOCK, April 7.-A life- long resident of East Zorra Township, Mrs. Adam Youngblut, 82, died at her home on the 12th Line yesterday after a lengthy illness.

    She was the former Catherine Mogk, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mogk, and was born on July 20, 1868.

    On Nov. 5, 1887, she married Mr. Youngblut, who predeceased her on May 9, 1944. Mrs. Youngblut was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sebastopol.

    Surviving are four sons, Albert of Battle Creek, Mich., Harry of East Zorra, William of Tavistock, and Jack of Toronto; five daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Ella) Chapman. Miss Florence Youngblut and Mrs. Lloyd (Doris) Sararas, all of Kitchener; Mrs. Fred (Anna) Loth, Bloomingdale; Mrs. Nor- man (Marion) Mather, Centre Line, Mich., 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

    The body is resting at her late residence at Concession 12. East Zorra, where a private service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m., to be followed by a public memorial service at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sebastopol, and burial in the adjoining cemetery. The services will be in charge of the pastor, Rev. O. T. C. Stockmann.
