Litt turns the corner at Cedar Street and pauses in front of 97 and 93 Cedar St. S. - the site of the Madison Group's most ambitious project so far. The houses will soon be demolished, making way for five three-unit brownstones along Cedar Street. Another seven brownstones will be built on the large lot behind.
"This was, when we bought it, a five-plex. It had massive fire damage and there was a grow-op in the back," Litt says, standing in front of one of the houses that will soon come down.
Litt starts walking again and stops in front of 124 Church St. The house is empty and in major disrepair. Litt wants to buy it even though it doesn't have a driveway.1a
