AITKIN, Velma Jean, of Cambridge Country Manor, on Tuesday January 28^th 1992 in her 83^th [sic] year. Beloved wife of George Aitkin of Cambridge. Also survived by a brother Allen J. Smith and his wife Margaret and a sister Luella (Mrs. Jack Slee) both of Cambridge. Mrs. Aitkin was a life long resident of Cambridge and was a former employee of Waterloo Trust. At the request of the family their[sic] will be no visitation a Memorial Service will be held at the Corbett Funeral Home 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, on Friday, January 31^st, 1992, at 2: 00 p.m. with Rev. Elizabeth MacDonald officiating. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital or Cambridge Country Manor Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
